Unable to Start a Meeting or Join
If you are having trouble joining an ongoing meeting or unable to create a new forum, the first thing you need to check is that you are correctly signed in to a Google account or G Suite. You can do this by heading to the main Google webpage and click the blue color sign in button. Meanwhile, if you use a G Suite, verify with your administrator to guarantee that Google Meet is allowable to your group within the Google Admin Console.
Your Meeting shows being full.
It happens when you already reached the limit for your subscription. Thus, you can no longer add another participant to your virtual Meeting. The G Suite Basic accounts and Personal Google accounts can only allow 100 participants only. Also, the G Suite Education accounts have a limit of 100 participants. Meanwhile, Essentials and Business accounts can hold up to 150 participants. For the Enterprise customers and Business Plus, Google Meet can accommodate up to 250 participants.
Dial-in Number
As of the moment, meetings that are set up by Google Workplace users have the dial-in number. It allows meeting participants to join in the Meeting via telephone. However, not all countries across the globe are supported by the dial-in number feature. Verify with Google to ensure your country supports the said feature.
Unable to See Participants Camera When on MacOS
Allow Firefox or Chrome to use a webcam for the latest versions of macOS like the Mojave. It is one of their safety precautions to guarantee no unapproved applications are running your microphone or webcam when they actually should be off.
Remember: Before doing this guide, first check your camera if it’s appropriately plugin. You’ll know this if you can access your cam in other applications like FaceTime, then you can proceed.
Step 1: Tap the Apple logo in the upper left part of your screen.
Step 2: Choose System Preferences.
Step 3: Click the Security and Privacy Setting.
Step 4: Select Privacy and then click the camera.
Step 5: Make sure that either Firefox or Google Chrome will verify it.
Take Note: The same steps are applicable if your microphone is having an issue. While you are at step 4, choose the microphone instead of the Camera option.
