You might probably see your Facebook Feed flooded by an Avatar-like Memoji or Bitmoji. Still, if you can’t figure out how to create the mini-me version of yourself, don’t worry. We got you covered with these helpful steps; you’ll be able to be in the trend in just a few minutes!
Setting up Facebook Avatar
Setting up is easy. All you need is your expansive imagination. Just be sure you know what you’re looking for, and the process goes smoothly.
Finding the Avatar Option
To begin the setup, you need to log in first in your Facebook account, and then tap on the menu section. Then click the See More and then click the Avatar. If you are in there, the screen must show you at the avatar creation page. You can now customize your Avatar by choosing your preferred details such as hairstyle, face shape, skin tone, hair color, body shape, clothing, and facial features.
After finishing customizing your Avatar, chose the check mark icon to save your Avatar creation. Now it is ready you can enjoy using it.
How to Use your Avatar
Your Avatar will also be accessible as your personalized sticker. Upon finishing modifying your avatar look, in the top right of your screen, you will be able to see three. Choose the Sticker icon, and it will show you all the available customized avatar stickers.
If you want to try one of the stickers, click the sticker you want to use and click either the “More Options” or “Send in Messenger” options. If you decide to click the Send in Messenger, you can select the recipient name from your Facebook friends list. Meanwhile, choosing the More Options will direct you to a new screen, and you may freely choose from multiple sharing selections right from email or direct to Facebook Feed.
Now is the time to update your “not so old” profile picture on your Facebook, as you can also use your Avatar and make it your new Facebook profile image. To do so, go to the menu and then return to Facebook’s Avatar Section, then click the “See More” option and click “Avatars.” You will notice the three icons in the uppermost right corner of your screen. Tapping the arrow icon will provide you the menu section. Select the “Set as Profile Picture”; you can choose your preferred pose and background. You can preview your selected choices by clicking the “Next” button.
You can still manage the duration of your new avatar profile. If you want to use it for one week, you can select the “7 days” option. However, you can choose the standard “Save” if you want to last it for quite a while.
Editing the Avatar
Your Avatar needs a fresh and new look too! From the right corner of your screen, click on the pencil icon. It will take you to the avatar creation screen. From there, you can play and mix around all the available choices.
